The latest offering from guitar aficionado, Tim Reynolds, is a 14-song musical expression entitled SEE INTO YOUR SOUL. Combining his signature acoustic sound with some of his newer, experimental elements, Tim offers listeners a glimpse into his musical genius, and provides a testament to his reptilian-like ability to move from one style to another.
Fans of the acoustic tours with Dave Matthews will recognize the playful "Hopeful Heresy" and the melancholy "To Touch Yearning." The electrified "Yak" and "Frantic" feel almost like excerpts from a science-fiction film score, and incorporate some of the unique industrial elements in which Tim finds inspiration. Fans of his work on the Puke Matrix project will especially appreciate these songs. "Rheginos And The Resurrection" and "The Wayfarer" provide an additional dose of the acoustic sound that fans have come to know and love.
Delicately finger-picking one moment, and slapping his guitar silly the next, Tim has defined a sound that has become his musical signature. Writing and performing every instrument on every track, Tim is the epitome of a one-man band. At just under an hour, there hardly seems enough time to really see into Tim's soul, but this disc is the obvious result of years of discipline and hard work - and it shows.
