I just got an email that TR will be performing with Dave at Farm Aid 2007 at Randalls Island on Sept 9th.
Thought some of you would be interested, especially Jon, Lisa, Dave C, and Jared. I'd love to go, but will have to see.
Other great music as well:
Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds to be joined by Gregg Allman, The Allman Brothers Band, Counting Crows, Matisyahu, Guster, The Derek Trucks Band, Warren Haynes, Supersucker, The Ditty Bops, and Montgomery Gentry.
September 9 at Randall's Island Doors open at 12 noon

OK, I won't be there. Tickets are $102 each for a seat, $52 for way back, standing room only. Forget that, I'm too broke right now.

Where is Randall's Island exactly? I'd love to go but too soon after my return from where I'll be. The Ditty Bops! We love them! Peace, Robin |

It's in New York Robin. Here is a link to the directions.
Oh, and another reason I won't go, I don't want to tackle the George Washington Bridge again. I have BAD memories of that bridge and the roads leading to and from it when I went to RCMH so I don't want to go anywhere near it, LOL!

To see Dave, Tim, Warren Haynes, Guster, The Allman Brothers Band, Willie Nelson, and Neil Young all in one big concert, damn that would be so good to see.
Too bad I am very very very low on cash (haven't hand the money to even pre-order Radio City yet). Plus, how the fuck I would ever get there, is another problem.
Hmmm . . . Anyone who goes should should be forced to tape it for others . . . sounds like a good penalty to me |

Does anyone know if this will be aired on CMT or another station like it has been in previous years? I'm looking forward to seeing T&D in action yet again.
I'm surprised that they don't release a CD or DVD of the Farm Aid performances from each year that goes by. You'd think they would since it would only raise more money for the cause. |

yeah, don't they release albums for Banaroo? I think they should do the same for Farm Aid and Bridge School Benifit. |
