Is anyone goin to the bluegrass festival!? does anyone here listen to bluegrass or am I the only one? I havent posted in a long time...wow...this is kinda wierd.
I wish I was going to telluride. I think Bela is going to be there with the acoustic trio and I can't remember if he's playing in the one with Stanely Clarke there too. I like me some bluegrass, but mostly progressive stuff like Strength in Numbers, or New Grass Revival. The more traditional stuff is ok, by me too. These guys are just as good as a lot of jazz cats out there they just are 1 and 3 guys. It's a really interesting discipline.
Alison Krauss and Union Station are there this year right? I love them. I thought I saw that Lyle Lovett was there as well. He's also a badass.
I wish I could go, but I live in CA and have to work all summer. I'm hoping to check it out next year, as I love bluegrass. Sam Bush being one of my favorite musicians.
