| From what I've heard of that whole situation, it was never really a big feud. It was just hyped up. Supposedly they were actually friends and the lines from Sweet Home Alabama came out as a joke that wasn't really taken personally. Who knows though. |

| Yeah---You got it pretty much...they (Synyrd) were all big fans of Neil's...After the plane crash, Neil said, "This is a song for some friends of mine in the sky..." and played Sweet Home Alabama...Some substitute teachers would ask their students to research the "fight" just to see if the kids would really research it or not... |
