which I assume is all of you...I suggest listening to WILCO...
they are awesome and I think they were at bonaroo...but anyway...they date back to '95 so there have a handful of albums. My favorite of theirs and possible one of my favorite of all time (yes, of ALL TIME) is called "yankee hotel foxtrot" it is so amazing that after I scratched my first copy to hell, I bought a new one. Now that is dedication! Anyway, check them out they rule...I usually stop listening to something, then pick it up 6 months later as if it is the first time I am listening to it agaian. check it out!
there also this guy Tim who rules the guitar!
heh...anyway.... |

If you guys are into Wilco, you may want to check out a band called Son Volt as well. I actually like Son Volt more than Wilco, but don't get me wrong I love Wilco as well. If you didn't know, Son Volt and Wilco are the offspring of a band called Uncle Tupelo who have what some call a little bit of a country flavor. I prefer to call it Americana. Uncle Tupelo are quite good as well and when UT broke up the band split and the x-members formed Wilco and Son Volt. Give them a listen! |

bought that cd the other day, havent decided how i feel about them yet. |
Well that is that and this is this. Will you tell me what you saw and I'll tell you what you missed, when the ocean met the sky. You missed when time and life shook hands and said goodbye. When the earth folded on itself. And said "Good luck, for your sake I hope heaven and hell are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath." |

Fluff you're the first person i think i've heard yet refer to Son Volt... i remember a couple years ago, there was this car commercial for VW (i think for like a Golf or something), and they played this really cool progressive little song over it that had acoustic guitar... turns out, after much searching on the internet, that it was "Chanty" by Son Volt. no lyrics, and the song is only about a minute and a few seconds long, but it's just such a cool little song that i WISH i could find tabs to!! check it out. |
