there are guys who make malmsteem look like a fucking ant. see: necrophagist, gorod, centaurus-a, ect.
i just moved, and i can't find musicians. of course, i live in fucking bridgeport ct., where there isn't one rock band, and we're surrounded by the rest of fairfield county.
incidentally, i am writing a a few death metal songs about dexter. i'll post them when they're ready. "bloodborn" and "dark passanger" are written and partially (and shittily) recorded. i still have to finish writing "the code of harry", "drugged, bound and dismembered" and "rita." |

You could easily write a song called "Deborah Morgan Needs (TO DIE BECAUSE SHE IS UNBEARABLY STUPID AND ANNOYING)." Feel free to tweak the title, but the subject matter is there. My Father watches Dexter and enjoys most of it, but when we talk about it on the phone or in emails he prays that Deborah will die. Every episode that she doesn't die in, disappoints.
All those titles sound like they could be Slayer songs. |

what? i like deborah. she reminds me of a friend of mine.
it's funny you should mention slayer. i started the writing process a while ago, end of winter maybe. but it's impossible for me to write death metal in the summer for some reason. so it's turning out to be less death and more thrash, so the songs taken as a whole are a weird mix death metal in the vein of decapitated and cannibal corpse, and thrash in the vein of slayer/and justice for all-era metallica. |
