Ok, well I have been trying to start up a band. I have had no luck since. The few I get responses from, I typicaly don't get anything after talking or a visit once or twice. Some say they are truely interested, some actualy talk to me more than twice, but nothing comes out. They also then seem to dissapear. I have turned down a few that wouldn't work. And of course I have ran into assholes and freaks that are worse than me!
I am looking for whatever someone can bring to the table. I have a huge list of originals, and willing to have input from others, as well as look at their songs.
What I am asking for is this:
1- anyone in south central Wisconsin looking to start something?
2- any advice?
I really want to start something, music ismy life. Any help would be appreciated. |

My advice - record what you got by yourself, and play shows by yourself. give out cds at the shows, and include with them a note that says youre interested in other people to play with. Pimp your stuff everywhere, too. If youre on a bill with different people, tell the ones you like that youd love to jam with them at one point. no contact is a bad contact.

I never thought about that. That's a good idea. I can't record all of what I got though, that would be about 7 discs or more, lol! |
