This looks cool...
Fantasy Congress™ offers you the power to "play politics." As in other fantasy sports, you - the Citizen - draft a team of real-life legislators from the U.S. Congress and score points for your team's successes. Join a league and compete against other Citizens, or form a league of your own! Play against your friends, family, bloggers, fellow politicos, or even a sitting U.S. Senator (one could be playing incognito, you never know!). On weekends, move Members of Congress into your active line-up or off your team to strategize for the upcoming week of legislation!
Note to Teachers: Fantasy Congress could be a great tool for bringing home the process of legislation and the role of Congress to your students.

All you have to do is create an account, join a league, draft a team of real U.S. Members of Congress and have fun as you compete to score as many points as possible. As the Members of Congress you drafted put real legislation through the lawmaking process they will score points for your team.
Like other sports, Fantasy Congress requires three things: a team, a system of scoring points, and a framework within which players can score. In this game, your team is a group of U.S. National Congress legislators, the legislators score points by pushing bills through the steps to create a law, and the framework within which they play is Congress itself.
How to get started:
- Create an account and become a Citizen and manage Members of Congress (MCs).
- Join a league. When you join a league, you receive an empty team, ready for you to fill with players.
- Draft your team and make sure the league manager activates the league.
- Check the site regularly as your members of congress earn points for you.
At the end of the season, the Citizen with the most points wins. To accrue the highest number of points, use your political savvy to decide which when MCs should be playing and when they should be benched.
MCs differ - sometimes dramatically - in how and if they can push legislation through Congress. Thus, choose wisely.

Ya basically that was sad for me, because the ones getting the most points and thus putting through the most legislation were mostly my least favorite congress people. I don't even like fantasy football though so there's no way I'll be able to handle fantasy congress unless the scoring system was for something different. Like you get 25 points for sexual misconduct, 50 if it's with a minor or someone of the same sex, 30 points for taking bribes etc. |

Then it would just be regular congress. |

not in america. you already admitted you're not a socialist anyway, and that you're just infatuated with the idea of being a socialist. i really don't want to start that argument again, though. once is enough. |

I tried some online fantasy and you start out by answering questions and then your label is applied.
I'm a "libertarian" which is a republican on pot.
Oh my god, did I just call myself a republican(ish)?
Wait no I swear I didn't mean it!
You know what is great? That people ACTUALLY believe that there is a difference between the democrats and republicans in office (excluding Kucinich (dem), Mckinney (dem) and Paul Craig Roberts (repub) who are by far the only ones left that actually have souls.
You know what else is awesome, everyone knows 9/11 was an inside job. Here is brand new video of explosives going off before WTC 7's collapse.

i'd like to point out that bombs in the buildings don't necessarily prove it was an "inside job." there were bombs there, i believe. seems pretty obvious. but, do you know what bombs in the building tells us? that someone put bombs in the building. nothing more, nothing less. it doesn't indicate to any degree who put them their. perhaps people who weren't employed by or part of the us government or military put them there. or maybe it was the government and military. i don't know, because they're just bombs. |

Lol, I was just joking around. Also I considered that the posts in that thread were more of just a conversation and not an argument.
But remember
Palin: "an argument is a series of statements to establish a proposition. it isn't just saying not it ti'snt"
Cleese: "yes it is"
Palin: "NO IT TI'SNT!"
. . . <== these dots are here for show, they don't really mean anything |
