If Ann Arbor was SUBLIME, this was whatever the opposite of that was. Great crowd, room is more of a roadhouse type room so I think it brought out the harder side of TR. Just my observation. I think the setlist will speak for itself:
Soft Soft Soft Mushy Mushy Mush
Particle Beam Overload Come Together Jemez Che Betrayal The Truth Indoctrinate Stick It ---------------------- Flourescence Ancestors Stream udont Here Comes The Sun Vantage Point Revolution Levee Slide Spew ----------------------- Gas 666 Come To Daddy Apeshit Offerings ------------------------ Hands Full Doom Hold On ------------------------ Kundalini OR Cold Or Just A Sack of Nuts
So the show was recorded by DaRavyn on video and I captured audio from the soundboard. I think DaRavyn got the whole show, unfortunately the soundboard recording is missing a song and a partial of another. First disc runs thru 666. Disc 2 starts during the first verse of Hands Full so tonites rendition of Come To Daddy is lost to audio. I am sure DaRavyn has it on video. After Hands Full comes (I think)Y.A.M.S.(which was a request) then Doom. End of Set. Encore was Hold On. Kundalini and Cold Sweat were not played tonite. Thats the scoop!

Fluffy,
You crack me the fuck up!
Lotsa dudes with their girlfriends who really didn't want to be there and were more interested in making out than witnessing genius. Then again, pehaps Tim brings out the romantic in all of us a little bit...
Hopefully next time we will be able to connect for a little while longer. (That way I'll be able to give you a better shoulder rub than the quickie I came up with last night.) It was really great seeing you guys again.....
All the same, those who dug it, really dug it. I am writing this post from the BET office in Chicago...so in the words of the late Tupac Shakur I say to the haters and the chatty cathies last night, "I'm not mad at you. I got nuthin but love for ya."
Beso,
K. |

Got the DAT from Rob for the Feb Grand Rapids show and a minidisc from the Feb Double Door show. I also got DVD's of the both shows that he show. The sound from the DAT and minidisc are not on the DVDs. He is bringing me audio files of the DAT and minidisc to Bloomington. Thats where it stands. |
