Charlotte was an awesome evening. It is the hometown of Blue Moutain Artists so they were out in full effect and we had lots of friends there. The opener was awesome, Bobby Lee Rodgers played solo and put his guitar thru a Leslie.(sp? I have carried many of them but never had to spell it. LOL) BLR is the leader of the Codetalkers, another BMA act, and is also a member of Col. Bruce Hampton's ARU. We even got to have dinner with him which was nice. After much talk about the Aura I think Bobby is going to try one as well. Both BLR and TR had great sets this nite and TR's was recorded from the board. Haven't been able to check it out yet since the CD's won't track in the CD player in the van. I have heard a few bits of it and if it all sounds as good as those bits it should be a wonderful recording. Here is the setlist:
