I bought my son a guitar but he has not started lessons and wont till summer vacation.Yesterday he broke a string. I'm relatively sure I wont have a hard time replacing the string myself. The problem I see is that I wont be able to retune the guitar.I was hoping that someone might be able to offer me some advice as to maybe a resonably priced easy to use tuner I could purchase or some way we could tune it ourselves.Any help would be much appreciated..TY

I use a Korg Chromatic Tune CA-30. It's great for guitars, and is very adjustable. It really can tune anything. You can plug it in or use the mic. It also has a pitch pipe in it. Personaly, this is the only tuner you and he will ever need.
