Im a member of the warehouse (DMB), and I often do B+P's for the less fortunate.
But I like to make them anwser questions for the B+P.
Usually one of the questions I ask is:
Whats the (#_ song) of Tim Reynolds setlist off the (date_ show).
I think that always throws them for a loop.

Sorry, i'm a little touchy about such things. My roommate smokes a lot of pot and I get soooo sick of hearing him talk about drugs all the fucking time!
I won't even buy pot anymore because he grabs it and does his whole analysis on it. I like pot on occaision but i hate the pot culture, maybe that means i'm a hypocrate.

For the record... i dont care if he talks about weed or what ever... but it seems that in every post of his lately he has said something to the effect of 'im soo high' .... now that was all that i was ripping on or pointing out... i honestly dont care if he smokes weed or what ever. but it would be the same if someone constantly said 'toot sweet' or whatever.

I think it is pretty kewl and Crash never ceases to make me laugh or at least chuckle with his every mention. I give him shit but it makes him unique. I love that. I would miss it if he stopped talking mentioning it and I would be very sad. So CRASH, smoke away!!!

I fully support crash's smoking pot as well, but I don't fully support his repeating himself so much. Like if i was hanging out with a bunch of friends and i kept saying "that's sweaty nipples" over and over, I sure hope one of my friends would pull me aside and say "hey dude... thats getting old". But hey its just my opinion that its getting old, don't take it as fact, just stating my opinion.

face it, if people could handle reality, they wouldn't need constant drugging. that's not directed wholly at you, crash, but since you do make reference to being high ALL the time, i make that assumtion. i know a lot of people who are miserable when sober. it's sad and it reveals the fact that they are feeble. also, "nah" is not a strong argument, high or not.

I just consider my self to be slightly intellegent (who the fuck knows, I could be way off), when people start mentioning my "mental stability" in a bad light, i tend to over react.
But the way I see it is "I will eventually stop",
(I know you think I dont know ass from a hole in the ground)
but I will stop, i know that for certain.
My parents smoked (my dad wont admit it, but my mom has told some stories), and they quit.
Of course they lived in Trinidad and Tobago, for a short while, and could buy pounds of the stuff for cheap prices.
And I only do natural drugs, (weed, shrooms, salvia), things that can just grow wild. (Well Ive tried ecstasy a few times, but all things in moderation).

Yeah Dan, seriously. You can be for drugs, against them, whatever, but to make generalizations like that is pretty lame. You don't know who you're talking about, and are making huge stereotypes about a lifestyle you obviously do not understand at all. I realize you know people who are miserable when they're sober. Ok. What drugs do they do? You can't just put all drugs in the same pool because their effects vary greatly. Pot, unlike other drugs like ecstacy for example, will not make you depressed when you come down. If they are miserable when they're sober, then if they never smoked then they'd just be miserable all the time... would you rather that be the case?
So people who do drugs obviously can't handle reality huh? Do you seriously think someone would take a drug like acid because they are depressed and can't handle life? No, absolutely not. If that's their reason then they are an absolute moron. Most people do psychedelics because they find them interesting and fun and people who know what they're getting into will try to be in a good mental state when taking them. Maybe it's not a matter of handling reality, but simply getting away for a while. Make the good times even better. Is there really something wrong with that? A person's desire to experience life to it's fullest is a bad thing?
And Dan, nothing personal, I simply don't agree with what you say. I'm not about to judge you. A little advice... you might want to consider taking the same approach to people because if you knock people down before you give them a chance you are the only one who's losing out.

yeah. I think that they should legalize it. Now, I don't touch the stuff, but if it was legalized, then there would be less use. That's because there's no "mystery" and the thrill of doing something illegal would be gone.

Oh yes, the use would definitely go down. I forget where, but in one place that it has been decriminilized the use has dropped by at least 30%. Also, it would be healthier. Better weed at a cheaper price means you smoke less of it which means happier lungs. There are many arguements for legalization, and virtaully none to keep it illegal. It's madness.

I think it should be legalized and I don't smoke it. One of the main reasons it is not legalized is that pharmacutical companies can not profit because people can grow it themselves.

Coke and heroin are addictive, pot is not. Coke and heroin have severe health risks, pot does not have any relatively dangerous health effects(lung cancer yes, but not so much as cigarettes and then again, what about if you vaporize it?). Like I said before, you can't just pool all drugs together. Think about the medicinal advantages of marijuana too.

Actually,
I've known many people who've smoked pot most their teen-lives and have burned one-too-many brain cells. Hense the term "burn-out" comes into play.
But then again, in another case, my roomate smokes the stuff on a daily basis, and hes a Pharmacy major ;-) So, who knows?
And Negative, I am not "High". I tend to get my "Highs" without the use of intoxicating substances, you'd be surprised how much you could get "High" just off Music itself. My experiences anyhow.
I do drink an occasional beer though? ;-)

Yes, but not everywhere and in the places that it is being used, the process isn't going smoothly. Recently the feds cracked down on a liscensed medical center in CA by confiscating all the center's plants, leaving their patients to suffer. Why they did that is a mystery, they haven't bothered placing any charges. I wish I could find the story to show you, but that's the jist of it.

Alright had to comment. This seems to be a very "touchy" subject. My hope is that we all are NOT judgemental. To each his own!! I'm sure each of us makes choices in life that others of us would not choose. Anyone eat crappy food sometimes, or drink too much alcohol on occasion or ride without a seatbelt sometimes? Go for days without enough sleep? Anyone ever have unprotected sex or tell a lie? Ever say anything to hurt someones feelings or smoke cigarettes? Would you keep the only ticket to a TR show when it was your best friends birthday? We probably each have different answers and opinions on all of these questions and much more. Whats that saying about glass houses. Or the other one about the first to cast a stone? The beauty of this board and the whole TR experience is uniqueness and individuality of each of us. I'm not saying we shouldn't state differences of opinions. Or look out for each other with good advice. Or banter with each other for the LOL experience. Just that we should do it with an open mind and without judgement.

Oh yeah, definintely. I hope that no one who doesn't agree with me gets the impression that I'm judging them. This board is definitely a great place for this kind of open discussion because we have a lot of people here who can take a point without taking offense to it. Whatever anyone's stance is on any issue, hats off to everyone for keeping their cool and not bashing each other like you would probably be seeing on most boards.

I would like to see marijuana legalized in my lifetime. But if that is to happen, then we cant regress anymore than already is.
That would be so awesome, I heard a while back, when we thought it might me legalized, that malboro (sp?) had already designed the box's for the j's. How cool would that be to pull up to a gas station and say "yeah Ill take a pack of the malboro marijuana cig's". You would have different brands like you do now with tobbacco (sp?).
If I were in a tobbacco company I would consider marijuana an untapped resource.

I think that would suck, for one-Marb would probably make it extremely addictive just like they've done w/ cigs and also they would probably have a huge tax. You'd be better off growing your own.

but if they did legalize it, the would make a law which would make it illegal to grow it yourself, just so some big corporation could earn even more money. So maybe, in the end, it's just better the way it is now.

There is a place in california, that lets you grow enough for a personal stash. I cant remember the town, Ill ask my friend, he would know.

OK to cut back on all my "im high" statements, I have come up with a plan. From now on if I simply want to let all the lovely people of this board know Im high, I will put an by my name.
If I have something to say about being high I will just go ahead and say it.
Beacause I just want people to know that if I fuck something up in my thread (i.e. missing the point), I did it because I was high at the moment.

Sure it is, if you are gonna go by the title and first post, but I think if you look beyond you will see that this thread has not been about that since many moons ago. There are far more posts on the Marajuana issue than the B&P Warehouse thread. Maybe Crash should change the title of the thread.

As pcbdmb is beating the ref, crash slowly gets up and finds a broom handle. Crash, placed a piece of fresh chewing gum on the end of the handle. Then crash shoves the broom handle up pcbdmb's ass, and stops only when pcbdmb begins to chew.
