Seattle show, Friday the 16th, Crocodile Cafe - Holy moses was that one inspiring show. Played a fab electric set. I don't know the set, but it did include encore's of Zepplin's Gotta Whole Lotta Love and Minarets on his 12 string. If anyone gets the set list I'd really like to see it. Not a show I've ever been to that was so worth the time, money and effort to see. Only downside were the DMB groupies. Those who came to see and hear I've no issue with, but the social butterflies should just stay away. They couldn't keep their yaps shut during the more subtle tracks.

I have to disbelieve that. He may have played an Eastern sounding song, but I bet it was not Minarets.

I will have to ask TR about that, but also doubt that is what he played. He did play a brand new acoustic song at the encore the second nite that was BADASS! It was called "Dissolution", TRULY BEAUTIFUL! I had both nites recorded and they are in my possession so you guys will be hearing them soon. He also has added a few covers to his set and I will try and get a complete list of the new additions to TR for Kev and his covers thread. The ones I know you can add are Closer to Home/I'm Your Captain by Grand Funk which by the way is one of the coolest covers TR does. It is absolutely beautiful. He has all the parts arranged into instrumental acoustic piece. He first performed this at Huntington, WV Sunrize Festival. He also is doing a cover of Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles that he tells me he used to cover along TIMe ago but has reworked it and now plays it pretty often. He said the orig cover he did of it was more reggae influenced because he really didn't know how to play it. Now he has worked it closer to the original version and it is outstanding. Also, Luther Vandross' Never Too Much which was a really nice surprise. He did not play that at either of the Seattle shows to my knowledge but he did play it in Bethany WV.

The first show at the Crocodile was almost sold out and Friday nite was sold out. TR said they were some of the best audiences he had played for in a while. GREAT nites, BOTH! You will be happy to know that the shows were recorded and I am in possession of the CD's. So everyone will get to hear these great shows. Off to Portland, OR and I can only imagine the shows will get better and better as we go and TR finds his groove.

Marcus Eaton was unbelieveable as always. He played a few songs from his upcoming new release and it sounds like it is going to be wicked. I also wanted to say "THANK YOU" to the other acts on the Seattle shows, Curtis Peoples and Danny Michel. Everybody was awesome to hang with and to see perform. You guys should definitely check these guys out as well.

Fluffy if you need someone to handle those recordings, I'd be honored to!

I just got back to Ca.(SUN!) after being at both shows and having an amazing TIMe with everyone(thanks Tim, Rew, and Fluffy). Both shows were so incredible, and frankly I don't see how they can get much better. I mean for the first shows of a tour, I was impressed though not surprised. TIM's voice has gotten richer and he has even more vocal range than when I saw him back in May. His covers that Fluffy mentioned were beautiful, there was never a lull, both shows flowed seamlessly from acoustic to electric, (which by the way was kickin'way beyond belief), and TIM gave it his all. I would encourage anyone that can, to fly, drive whatever, to get to a show, it was more than worth it. He is truly an artist in every sense of the word, and we are so lucky to share in the gift of TIM Reynolds music. Marcus Eaton was a great opener he writes beautiful songs and has a really nice voice.I enjoyed seeing him both nights as well. That's all for now, I'm tired from a great two nights. Peace, Robin

AWESOME!!! Thanks for the reviews guys. I agree with Pam, not hearing reviews is rough when you can't go to the actual show, so now I feel much better. Sounds like two great shows with some great covers. Pam, I hear ya on the setlists too...haha. By the way, I'm curious after the last tour, did any of the costumes make an appearance? Let keep those reviews coming!

Goggles have been the only costume adjustment during the show. I am hoping with my first day off I will be able to post setlists from the shows thus far. As for pics, I only got pics last nite as it was to crowded in Seattle to take pics. Last nite was another brilliat TR performance but because of the audience in Seattle I think the first 2 shows still take the cake. Bend today, so I must jump as we need to leave here very soon!

Hello all...I'm new and had to comment on the shows.

I was only planning on going Friday, but ended up getting to go to both. It was one of the best musical experiences I've had. Tim was extraordinary and blew me away. I know I'm not much of a writer, but I just had to pipe in. I feel so lucky to have seen him in a small venue like the Croc.

The crowd seemed a lot better on Thurs then Fri. Friday I kept wanting to slap people in the heads and say, "WTF? How can you stand here and TALK during all this great music?"

I got to meet Fluffy, Robin, and Rew. Meeting them was just as wonderful as the music. They are great people. Thanks guys so much for letting me hang with you. And I hope you all have safe travels....

ok, gotta go be mommy now.

Do the change thing Pam. I don't spend any coin anymore, it's my "Gorge Fund".

And thanks for the warm welcome. I like it here.
