I have no idea if this will work, but here are some pix from the show last night. I don't have much time to expound on a review, but needless to say, Tim's performace was yet again nothing short of absolute genius. Again, he did about 2/3 acoustic and 1/3 electric. Greg Howard was great (never seen him before), but I don't think he played nearly long enough. He did join Tim for a spectacular encore of Whole Lotta Love. As far I as setlist, I'm sure someone else knows song titles better than I. He did do a number of songs I don't recognize, but I haven't collected any recordings from the past year. I distincly remember Stream/Kashmir, All You Need Is Love, Snake, Chaos View Drip, Put the Gas Mask On, Indoctrinate, Babylon (?), . . . and more.
Hope these go:

Had a good time in Chicago Thursday night...i taped the show and have reviewed some of it. Audio is not as good as i wanted it to be...i also realized when i showed up at the show that i grabbed the wrong camera (Hi8 and not the digital) but I will still eventually get it on DVD...not in a hurry to do it though. Loved the show....Decent crowd but a little chatty and loud. Was not impressed at all with the guitar noises being made during All You Need Is Love. Tim put on a good show though and I'm glad to get to see "Put the Gasmask On" again. The first ever show I went to, I think 99, he played that song...WITH A GASMASK ON!!! Then saw him again in 2000 and this is the first TIMe back to see him, so glad I got it on tape to enjoy. Good to see and meet you, Fluff. Look forward to the next TIMe!! |
