I got a copy of the Eternal Sunshine soundtrack for Valentine's this year, and I love the whole thing. I'm a huge fan of the movie (obviously). Anyways, there's the band "The Polyphonic Spree" on the album, and I'll be damned if they aren't the happiest band I have ever heard. When I'm in a good mood I find myself listening to them, but when I get in a bad mood I fucking hate them.
Anyone else feel that way? |

I'd say it'd be a tie between them and the Flaming Lips, I'm suprised they've never toured together.
I've only seen the Poliphonic Spree live once, and it was on TV, but they were all in robes, and there had to be about 40 of them, very unique band. |

I've read articles in scientific journals about how scientists don't have the technology to figure out how many people are actually in the band.
Yeah, apparently their live performances are like religious experiences and people break down crying, etc. It's practically a cult. |

Is that the same band that was on Scrubs?....because there were a lot of them, all in robes....uplifting music...something about touching the sun or grabbing the sun or something ridiculously happy. I don't know why I'm asking....because I doubt there are very many bands that fit all these criteria. |

If they mentioned the sun, it's them. Song titles include: "It's the Sun" and "Light and Day". |

Please, they are way ahead of you. You just need to bring the arsenic. |

I think Fluffy might have been telling me about this band just the other day... Now I'll have to put the soundtrack and their album(s) on my wish list! |
