Wow, Im touched. The last thing I expected to see when I got on here was a message wishing me a happy birthday. Then I remembered PJKs little list of everyones bday from way back.

Hey, thanks again all. I actually don't drink. I usually the DD. I was the DD for my mom, dad, and sister, and my sister said shes never drinking again!

No, no, no. This wasn't ON MY BIRTHDAY, this was back when my grandma was sick and we all thought she was going to die. Their way of dealing with it was to get plastered. My way of dealing with anything is humor, and I don't drink. So I was their DD.

Thanks for bringing this thread back to life. Had the celebration last night with family and fiance. Got about 50 emails at work today wishing me a happy one so that made a kind of crappy workday better.
And I'm enjoying playing my bday gift, my ESP/LTD KH-602.

I turned legal drinking age this year too, but here it's 19 so my beer belly gets a head start.

I guess I'm two years, one year, and/or a day late, but happy birthday anyway. Since you don't drink, I guess your big b-day will be 25, when your insurance gets cheaper...

I actually have learned to loosen up a bit and have a few drinks now and then. We went to one of those Japanese Grill places for my birthday with my family and fiance, so of course I had to do a couple sake bombs
As far as gifts, I pretty much got cash from everyone I know to help pay for the one gift I really wanted, my ESP/LTD KH-602:
