Lately i've been reading, 'wizard and glass,' and it got pretty stale for a while. But I picked it up and the addiction came again. Things are now starting to heat up in the story. I love these books. God I cant wait to reach the final chapter, but i'm enjoying every page. And here's my favorite picture,

"Childe Roland to the Dark Tower came"

It's from a poem written by Browning. "Childe Roland to the Dark Tower came."

I love the Dark Tower, and I just reread Wizard and Glass myself. The story in it with Roland, Cuthbert, and Alain is one of my favorite parts of the whole series. Keep reading HTG, book five "Wolves of the Calla" is also amazing. Six "Song of Susannah" gets a little dry at times, but it sets up the scene for the final knockout of "The Dark Tower". I know there's a number of us on the board who are devotees of Mid-World.

I have to say though, while i'm reading 'wizard and glass,' that Cuthbert Allgood is easily becomming one of my favorite characters. His humor always gets a few chuckles while i'm reading, something I hardly do when reading a book.

I haven't read the Dark Tower series, but it is on my list of things to read. (I wonder if I could get the whole series in Audiobook.)

I think there were references to the Dark Tower books/characters in Eyes of the Dragon and Hearts in Atlantis. Is that true?

Yes it is true. And also references to The Stand, Insomnia, and a number of other books.

And as far as I'm aware, you can get the whole series on Audio.

I was reading on a Dark Tower fan site that tons of Steven King books have small connections with the DT series. Were its mentioning the Crimson King, or the Wastelands, there there.

Yeah the list is huge. There are books that have been written laying out all the connections.

And oddly enough King Crimson is a great prog-rock band which Tony Levin had been apart of.
