I would, but my brother has the GC (well it technically is his, since he bought it and what not...).
I'm probably going to end up taking this week's pay check and buying a used GC just for this game. |

I love Nintendo, and I have owned every Nintendo system that has ever come out.... But I can't understand why this game is a gamecube exclusive.

It was a Gamecube exclusive, but they decided to bring it to all consoles. I'll probably be on the PS2 in about a year. |

those rooty toot fancy motherfuckers are making a dance dance revolution game. with mario in it. in case you didn't see or believe that last sentence, let me put in all caps for you. DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION WITH MARIO. what a waste. take all the money, people, time, and resources used to create that brutal frontal assault on decency and put it to the new zelda. i'm not saying don't do anything else. but ddr with fucking mario? why not go door to door and kick everyone in the nuts.
when i think hot dance floor moves, oh yeah, i think of fat italian plumbers in overalls. wow. |

I personally just get tired of all the great games that I want to play coming out for EVERY system BUT Gamecube. I think I'll be getting a PS2 or XBox if they come down in price just a little more. I think PS2 is a staple in the market that will remain for some time.

yeah, i noticed that. perfect example, the other systems making star wars ep 3 games. and they look fantastic. i love star wars games. but all cube has is jedi outcast. and it's a good enough game, despite all its flaws (akward in game menus. takes around 3 years to look up or down.) the thing with gamecube is that it has games that are better than any game on any other system. the zelda titles, ToS, crystal chronicles ect. i would buy a cube simply for zelda. but they're too few and far between. and yeah, they share some games, re, 007 and so forth, but still. their problem is every time a movie comes out or a new cartoon comes out, they make a fucking game out of it. i understand that they have to make money, but quality over quantity as far as i'm concerned.
incidentally, re4 got a 9.6 on gamespot and they called it "the best horror/survival game ever" so. it sounds good. i'm not getting it til i find someone to play it with. |

Yeah. I was pissed when Battlefronts came out. For every system, and PC, but not Gamecube. Gamecube has Donkey Konga though....yee haa!!!!

Well I was at HTG's apartment earlier today since he bought RE4. I played about 30 minutes of the begining and wow. I can't wait until friday to get my pay check because I'm buying a GC just for this game (...and Metroid Prime 2 and, later, the new Zelda). The graphics are insane and the the gameplay is frantic. You have to be constantly aware of your surroundings considering the camera is fixed behind you (it's not a bad thing though). I got decapitated twice by that fucking chain saw guy...
So yeah, this game is hard and very entertaining. Even though I only played a few minutes of it, I'm pretty confident when I say that. |

Well I liked Mario Sunshine. I played the shit out of it when I had my wisdom teeth taken out.

| mario sunshine was the most tolerable out of them. i didn't like it, because i was expecting mario in the grand old style. if i wanted to clean shit up, i'd do something illegal to earn me community service. |

I didn't mind Mario Sunshine, or Luigi's Mansion. I wish they would have come out with something comparable to Mario 64 though.

But anyways, funny story about me buying my GC... I guess.
First, I cahsed my $130 check after school and went to Blockbuster because it's a lot closer than EB. BB had used GC for $70 and that's too much so I figured I'd go to the mall after work and buy a used GC there. Well I get off work and arrive at the mall around 8:00pm. The guy tells me used GCs are $60, so I buy it, along with RE4.
After spending $117 just on these two things, I put my remaing $10 in gas. I get home, (note that I live a 20 minute drive away from everything) have a bite to eat, and relax a little. Then I go upstairs to plug in the GC. Well I open the box and I see that something doesn't look right. Sure enough something wasn't, it didn't have the red, white, and yellow cord that I need. I say, "fuck!!"
So I take $40 out of the $80 that I've saved and drive to Wal-Mart (20 minute drive) just to buy the stupid cord. I buy it and drive back home (another 20 minute drive) and take a shower. Then I'm thinking I can finanly play the game. So I put it in and I realize...
...I have no memory card.
I say, "FUCK!!!!!!!" So I drive to HTG's apartment to get an extra card (another 20 minute drive) then drive back (another 20 minute drive). I get home at 1:00am frustrated and annoyed and only play for about 45 minutes before I'm too tired to keep going.
I spent at least a quarter of a tank... |

That story sounds like shit that happens to me all the time. I wind up making like 3 trips when it should have been taken care of in 1.
