You could always move to LA or Philly. I will put in a good word for Texas when I see Tim tomorrow night.
BTW Joshmartin, welcome to the Board! Stick around. Oh, and where specifically in TX do you wish for TIM to play?
Another thing you can do is get a list of some great music venues in your area that you think would really work for TIM and email Tom, TIM's booking agent, with the information. You can get Tom's email by going to the home page, clicking on "Contact Us" and then clicking on Tom's name. Good Luck with this! |

I feel the same way about Iowa. Since the HORRENDOUS crowd at the Union Bar in Iowa City a few years back, I doubt Tim will ever come back.
Fluffy: If Tim plays a *free* private show in my living room, I promise the crowd will be 100% respectful.

Thanks for the warm welcome PJK...
I am in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. Tim played a show in Downtown Fort Worth at whats was the "Caravan of dreams". I was walking to work the next day and stumbled upon Tim loading his equipment into his van. I was freaking out....he is a very nice guy, he looked kind of surprised that someone would know who is was on the streets of Fort Worth, Texas.
I walked up and introduced myself and we exchanged a few words then off i went. Best day of my life.
Maybe one day soon i can get him booked at the Bass Performance hall. I will take your advice and forward the information to his booking agent.
Later on..

So you know, we have also played at Trees with TR as well as Caravan of Dreams. I was sorry to hear that CoD closed. It was a great club. I have also been thru Dallas with Chris Whitley and we played Gypsy Tea Room which I also liked alot. I would love to see TR there. Who knows, maybe soon. Keep the Faith, we will be back! |
