What is the best deal you have ever gotten in your life?
I just got 100 BRAND NEW DVDs, NO DUPLICATES for $200 US (245 with shipping) off of eBay
I think this may be the best deal I've ever scored. Of course I plan to resell these.

I used to work at a computer store right next-door to a supermarket. Dr. Pepper was having some promotion that you needed the label for, and the stuff was already on sale at the store. So we would go over in shifts, buy Dr. Pepper, bring it back and take the label coupon, go back and buy more.
We ended up buying all the Dr. Pepper they had, and the price came out to being something like 3 or 4 cents per two-liter. For the next few weeks that's pretty much all we drank...we would all just have an open two-liter on our desk and chug out of it.

$10,000 (came out to $7300 after taxes) a year for two years just for staying in the Air Force as a techie.
Since I'm almost 3/4 of the way to retirement, I was going to stay in even if they didn't offer me money! |
