Forget her! She did the same thing to ME!!
And so surfing the world, I've found that I'm scared of loosing my left arm. I stabbed my index finger with a linolium gauge a while ago, has made guitar playing slighty painful.
And now I'm wondering...The human mind is such a beautiful instrument. So strange how you and I, two masses of elements that are somehow THINKING and MOVING, can communicate. We see the world how we WANT to see it, not how anyone tells us it should be. These words are on your computor screen because your mind is telling you they are there...Now think about this: Any other human being reading this sees something different...our own experiences in life have tought us how to see everything around us, and so each of us sees something different. Now, the reason why you aren't sitting in a tugboat in the Ganges right now, with the sky as your computor screen, is because the human mind is stubborn. We are only trained to see what we see as natural, get my drift? But now there is a flip side, what if we COULD train our mind to let us do anything we want? We would be able to literally walk through the objects in this world (well, the world we are seeing now) and be living in our own personal world. Einstein had this same theory, that everything we are seeing now is fundamentally a figment of our imagination. It is only this way because that is how we are seeing it NOW. That is how we are interpreting it.
Interesting to think that we are nothing but a large group of atoms, just random little particles, but that we can occomplish so much. We make music, just look at that. Organized sound. Have you ever been with a friend when he or she or shim starts humming a tune you are both familiar with, but he or she is humming it TOTALLY wrong? Chances are, your friend will adamently stand his ground and say that HIS version is correct. Well, it is. Because that is how he hears it. Amazing. Sutle nuances make a difference.
So I spend way to much time alone. I've been comtemplating my ceiling, devouring Doritos and Kool-aid like there's no tomorrow. Lots of things to think about, and school is doing nothing but getting in the way. I've discovered that this entire "things are how YOU want them to be" deal doesn't work when you try to involve other humans, which is why I've bored you all so much. I'd like to think that you are enjoying this (and if you ARE, that's pretty damn cool) but chances are you are about to throw a fist through your computor screen (if it's really there) and punch me in the skull. That's okay, ya know? I'm used to it, I'd like to think that I have something to say, but I've come to realize that there are few willing to listen. This old world keeps spinning round, and I'm just here trying to figure out what in the hell this old world IS (should I ask Neil Young? He wrote that damn song...) and why the hell its spinning. I may be destined to be solitary my entire life, as the aforementioned circumstances provide, but thats all right man. I'm gonna go there, I'm gonna climb...I'm just gonna keep writing shit on the internet and hope someone has the time to unlock what (in the blue fuck) I'm trying to say. I'm so damn happy now I'm gonna run outside and tell the birds to shut the hell up (and tell Elton John, too). I, as one single human being, have found out what life really is, at least what life really is to me, and it cannot be put into words. Its dark out, I'm wearing sunglasses, I've layed off the weed, I still don't have my TEMPS, but ya know what? I'm happier than a fuckin' clown on speed.
When I die, dump my ashes in a storm drain, say, "good riddance mutherfucker," and know that when it rains, I'm in that rain. I'm filling your damn birdbath, I'm making your hair wet, I'm making your day miserable (or enjoyable, depending on if you like rain or not). That's what I want. Not that I'm planing on dying soon, but that's what I want. It may be illegal, so do it at night, like on a Thursday. |

I'm with you Jay. My family thinks I'm crazy when I talk about stuff like that. "You're a neo-hippie Dan", "It's just a phase Dan". Some minds don't want to be opened and it can be frustrating, but that's just fine. I'd love to talk more about it, later. |
