This is probably old news, but Béla Fleck and the Flecktones are touring. Yes! Can't wait to see these guys again.

Well I think they might be heading to europe this summer too but that's still unconfirmed and all. Just another rumor for you guys. Once again though it will probably be a while before they make it to oregon.

The Flecktones + Playboy Jazz Festival = WOW!

I've been meaning to go to the PJF ever since I "found" music. Now, I guess I have a damn good excuse!

Surfer, you left out an important part of that equation. It should read

Flecktones + Playboy Jazz Festival + Hollywood Bowl = WOW!!

The sound at the Bowl is amazing, probably the best outdoor venue I've ever been to. I saw Bjork there last summer and was very impressed.

a former band mate of mine met him and attended his masterclass at suny purchase (suny poorchoice)
