hey all,
so i just recently purchased a dl4, which I love. there is so much to do with this box, i think it will keep me busy and entertained for a long time. my question is about the linking of boxes/effects in the setup chain that tim has, and that i noticed howie day has. for example, i noticed howie's setup looks like this for his guitar:
....dl4->..dd-3->direct box->PA
why does he run the dl4 into the boss dd-3?(or dd-5 or 6)? im fairly new at this effects game and not sure exactly why the last link in the chain would be the dd-3, what would be the idea or advantage of doing that? thanks, just trying to learn as i go :)
