tell us all about your bands, i know we have a few threads here and there about this, but i'm putting em together...

My Band:Bean
Bass/Vocals/random other instruments at times- Me
Guitar/Vocals- collin watters
drums/vocals- josh sprouse

Our band has the power trio effect, we are a funk/rock/groove jam band, playing bluegrass, jazz, and eclectic compositions at times. We've been together for a little over a year now, playing to many small crowds of folks, mainly bars, social events, small band festivals, and restaurants. The biggest crowd ever is maybe 150-200 people...No demos or recordinds yet(other than some home videos...).

Tell me about your other bands out there in Timland?

i do, its in hiatus right now though :(.... just cant get together at the same time... but soon we will get shit going.... damn it.

Stasis:
Vocals/Guitar - Dan Evans
Guitar/Vocals - Scott Cannaday
Bass - Scott McVeigh (Canadaian)
Drums - Aaron Severs

i probably spelled their last names all wrong.

Anyway, we are basicly a rock band, we like to mess with time sigs so i guess it could be math rock, but not really heavy like most math rock is. And i like to throw in a lot of wierd noises to make it spacey and psycadelicish.... so were like that i guess.

really you have never heard of math rock. it is along the lines of 'nu metal', such as mudvayne.

and geek rock is more of weezer style rock.

I would've thought math rock would be along the lines of prog rock, like dreamtheater, or rush, or yes, or something like that. Nu-metal didn't enter into my mind.

Geek Rock- yeah i could say weezer is a good one for that, them and weird al yankovic.

I'm in a duo.

Mixed Bag:
Eric Dz - Vocals, Guitar, Harmonica
Mandolin/Banjo/Guitar/Ukulele - Me.

And we are looking at a few candidates for bass and guitar.

Steve Hackett: "I'm my own opening act, you see."
Tim (before "Faceoff"): "Peace, love....and SEX!"

I play in a few bands and solo. I play drums, guitars, harmonica and sing in a band called Norm & Beyond. Norm is the front person who sings and plays acoustic guitar or bass. Jill plays synths or bass and sings too. It's best described as acid folk. I also play drums in 4 piece band, Of God & Science, with Matt on vocals/acoustic guitar, Jeremy on Bass, and Ramon on electric guitar. We have a sound that has a mix of vibes like Floyd, Tool, Rush, and RadioHead.

Here's a link to some MP3s if anybody is interested.
