After hearing LIOG on LIC, I can't imagine it being anything but that. He seems to be really feeling that one.
But I think it is a mood thing. If he's having to play around people, then I think he will just play whatever. But on some songs (like the ones you mentioned), where the band just Opens Up, Lets Tim In, he really shines. At those TIMes, Tim just improvs, and I think it is clear that that is really really what he loves to do. So I think any song that Tim is allowed to do that are the songs he likes the most to play on.
I know that's not one particular song, but I think as with any musician, there are songs that they like some night when they don't like them other nights. So I think a blanket statement works best. That is to say, Tim's favorite is [probably] any song that he's allowed to do what he likes to do, and not one where his role is more defined.
