I'm looking for some of the easier Tim songs to try to learn. I figured out Open Up And Let It In and As Far As We Can See...and I'm working on Loose, but that's a work in progress =). Any opinions? |

My first song was Decline in Reason. Pretty easy if you leave out the bass slaps. And when you feel confident enough, add 'em in. Also, Los Alamos isn't too difficult (if you leave out the solo, of course). And finally, Letting Go is a fun one to play around with. From what i remember, getting the basic concept down for these is the hardest part....but once you get past it....cake walk. |

I'd agree with Los Alamos. Jemez isn't that hard, as long as you leave out the solo and improv parts. I'd say the same about Open Up And Let It In. Oh, if you have a pedal you could play Entity. |

Another one would probably be Smile. That's a personal favorite of mine. |
