I have had a Lord of the Rings Two Towers DVD rip for about about a month now, but I have a question. It is done in avi format, and xvid codec. It plays fine. I am trying to burn a video disc and was wondering if anyone could gimme a heads up on a good converting program. Since its xvid codec, converting becomes a problem since its not "standard" avi format, its xvid. This is really the only field of computers where I am clueless: converting under certain video codecs. Thanks a lot. And YES I'm willing to share it to all who want it (in my ftp maybe???).
if u get nero burning rom, u can get a program that will automaticly automaticly convert it to vcd or svcd compliant format. u can download these things, or buy them, but nero charges like 20 bucks for the (Mpeg 2 video) codec that makes it an automatic conversion. so do what u would like.
if you want a program just to encode it differently then get quicktime pro just dl quicktime from www.apple.com then gdl a key and upgrade thats what i use to encode all my dave videos
