okay, I really need an explination for a really simple thing. A tap tempo, I don't under stand how it works with the boss DD5, please sombody tell me how to work it........please........... |

you need to get a tap pedal, plug it into the coresponding jack, then u can tap your foot to the tempo u want the delay to go. here is a link to the pedal u would plug in http://www.bossus.com/index.asp?pg=1&tmp=37

Yeah, not to repeat what was just said, but by plugging in an FS-5U Unlatching footswitch into the Tempo jack, you can control the Tap Tempo: Modes 8-11 on the DD-5. Depending on your desired delay length, you select the mode. Mode 8 for shortest delay times, Mode 11 for longest delay times. You then activate the DD-5 by stepping on IT'S footswitch, then tap your foot 4 times on the FS-5U Footswitch with the beat of the song you are playing. You can then activate and deactivate the DD-5 as many times as you want, and the DD-5 will remember this tap tempo setting until the mode is changed, the DD-5 is unplugged from it's power source/the battery goes dead, or you tap a new tempo with the FS-5U.
