Posted - 10/19/2005 : 5:00:25 PM about the venue...8x10 (the bmore venue) has it listed, so it seems like it is a legit deal, and the link to buy the tickets there for Tim takes you to a ticket master page without tim listed...I think I will call the venue here soon though...

Hey man, I came from over here to CA for a show, you can come from CA over here for a show... turn about is fair play or something, right?

You're right, it's just much easier to blame someone else.
I've seen Mercury Direct live. If only we could get a bunch of people from this board at one show we'd definitely get a mosh pit going. I wouldn't be satisfied until I was knocked out.
Living in CA and having miterms are minor obstacles. |

Of corse this subject is really for the other side of the board, but hey, it did add a little spice to this side! LOL

I've never seen that movie. I was just being stupid. I know what movie you're talking about though. Gene Hackman... I'll check it out.
Are me and EntuTIMsiast the only ones from this board going to the 11/3 show? I think you all should take a road trip. It's just a destination with time in-between. |

Ha! That was funny... I wouldn't get in on that kind of bet either. But it has to be easier for women not to do it. You see, men, we have to do it. It's our nature. So if we do place a bet you've got to put up 2 to 1 odds.
Yes, it does belong on the other side. I blame Arthen for this tangent. I only dropped a suddle Seinfeldism and it was still TRelated. He took it and ran so I had to keep up. |

As mentioned before, it is about one hour acoustic and then TR closes the set with about 30 mins of electric. Encores are "usually" a combination. Hope this helps!

Your job is being picky? How'd you get hooked up with that? Seriously though, if you go to a TR show on this run you will see a great acoustic performance. Probably close to an hours worth but that just depends on his mood for the night. The rest more than likely will be electric unless something has changed. But that just adds flava. And I wouldn't go expecting to hear Stream. It's possible but that's few and far between these days. If more people were aware they would be wanting to hear DOOM instead, or Rheginos. For me, to only have to pay around $10 for a ticket, stand 4 feet from my favorite guitarist and get blown away is priceless. I've never had one single complaint from one of his shows. It's all good all the time. But that's just my 2 cents; if it's worth that. |

You can certainly have the want, just don't go crazy like a lot of DMB fans do. "Oh man the band played Crash tonight! I hate them it was the worst show ever!" or "They played so many radio songs tonight, ahhhh!!"
I can honestly say there's never been a concert I've gone to where I didn't hope to hear a certain song. If I didn't hear it, oh well. My first time show I would've killed to hear Rheginos and the Resurrection, it didn't happen, but it was still the thired greatest experience of my musical life (after the other two times I've seen him!).
You should consider going even if it is electric. It probably won't be more than $20 and you'll see one of the greatest guitarists/musicians in the world.
