Posted - 05/30/2002 : 5:29:39 PM Being that I've seen both sides of the arguement, I really can't say i prefer one or the other. I mean, Dave Matthews is an amazing musician, and Tim is equally if not greater a musician as well. Together they make some really great music. Like Jamie M said, it's really cool to listen to all of the stuff going on behind dave. You might not pick up on it at first, but it's awesome. Tim solo though, that is a show. It's just mind-blowing. Definitely equally awesome.

Posted - 05/26/2002 : 9:59:53 PM dave and tim, but do it where tim plays solo for like a short set, then joins dave matthews later. essentially it's what dave and tim have already done, but a helluva lot more tim solo!

Posted - 05/26/2002 : 6:04:44 PM Dave and Tim. As much as I love Timmy, when he's with Dave they just seem to click soo damn well. Dave writes great songs, and Tim adds soo much to those songs, alot that's not even apparent unless you really listen.
Signature? Uhhh...I have bad handwriting... |

Posted - 05/26/2002 : 4:52:45 PM Dave and Tim without hesitation. And the thing that's so good about D&T concerts is that you get Tim solo too. I actually think that he shows more ability in some ways when he plays with Dave. Alot of it you just can't hear because of Dave's voice and guitar, but there's always so much brilliant stuff going on in the background. I love listening to L@LC and picking out new things I haven't ever heard before. Of course, I still love Tim solo, that's why I'm here, but I prefer the duo.

Posted - 05/26/2002 : 3:22:33 PM Tim solo.
D+T is great, but it doesnt showcase tim at his best. Its Dave with wonderful backup from tim, and thats really it. I love D+T, but Tim solo is definately more to my taste, accoustic or electric.
