Posted - 02/02/2002 : 9:25:38 PM The problem with the tabs here, is that there is no way to capture Tim's ability to improv. Aside from maybe putting down the key the improv might be in, there is little you can actually tab out. |

Yeah, but more importantly, good tabs. Otherwise, you'll be playing it wrong, and it just won't sound right no matter how much you practice.

Posted - 02/03/2002 : 12:43:04 AM that's not entirely true.....some songs like Decline in Reason and As Far As We Can See have very little if any improv in it. Most of his songs are well-structured so you can just fool around to find some fun stuff in it.
