The problem with the tabs here, is that there is no way to capture Tim's ability to improv. Aside from maybe putting down the key the improv might be in, there is little you can actually tab out. |

that's not entirely true.....some songs like Decline in Reason and As Far As We Can See have very little if any improv in it. Most of his songs are well-structured so you can just fool around to find some fun stuff in it.

Either way, unfortunately, tim's songs are almost too impossible to play structured or not.

Not really. I've been playing the guitar for less than 2 years and I can play a lot of his songs. It just takes a lot of practice and patience.

Yeah, but more importantly, good tabs. Otherwise, you'll be playing it wrong, and it just won't sound right no matter how much you practice.

Don't worry......these tabs are very good. Not all of them are completely accurate, but they are very close.

The biggest key to playing Tim's music is complete mastery of the guitar... if you aren't a master yet, then boatloads of practice. -J
