Posted - 04/03/2003 : 8:10:11 PM I love the Silmarillion it's one of my favorite books. It's beautiful, but it is definitely biblical. Read it again and again. It's so awesome, definitely inspires me to be a writer. |

Agreed. Yeah, I though that was really funny how he hardly even mentions the Fellowship, and makes it look so insignificant. |

Posted - 12/30/2002 : 01:11:57 AM I will be honest here... The first 100 pages of the Silmarillion I wanted to shoot myself. So much loong detail and description and explanation... definitely confusing! But when it gets to Turin and Beren&Luthien and that stuff, I like it from there. |
