Hey, I love being here but I may not be back for awhile. I fell the other day and screwed my back up in a big way. Typing and mousing is about as painful as using the clutch in my car.
I'm bumming and blue . It even hurts to hold a friggin book and my game boy. I've been in a narcotic induced stupor since I did it on Sunday so this is the first chance I've had to get on the computer. I know you'll all send good thoughts cause you're all sweet and awesome. Bye for now! Hopefully I'll get better soon. Or at least out of so much pain. They started throwing the surgery term around immediately and like Art Bell says...."There is no way in HELL they will ever cut me open and fool around with my spinal nerves so hopefully it'll heal on its own". I start PT tomorrow YUCK!!!! And I'm seeing a naturopath the next day. Wish me good fortune!

| Wow, that really sucks!!! I hope you get better soon, hopefully the Karma for the deer will kick in. I think the Karma Police owe you big TIMe. Are you off work on temporary disability till you are better? Or are you having to work in the horrible pain? Geez, I hope not, that would suck. 1 prayer goes out 4 all 3 of you(you and your 2 kitties). Get better soon, I will miss you. |

eek! That sounds painful! and I know the feeling from my high school days of backyard wrestling and extreme sports, I would spend many days where I couldnt move, and it even hurt to sit or lie down. I seriously hope you get better, and take your rehab seriously. The better shape you are in, the less likely anything like that will happen in the future.

| Hey Kevin, do you have any videos of your backyard wrestling exploits you could send me, I would love to check them out. I have seen some of that amateur backyard footage and it is pretty amazing. Not necessarily in good way, but amazing what they will do to each other and themselves. I would be very interested to see some of your exploits. |

The doom and gloom is actually not too bad today. I'll say that today. I was pretty depressed when I wrote this thread. I knew you'd all send good thoughts. Once again, quantum physically, that is better than drugs or physical therapy. I saw an acupunturist yesterday and didn't have to take pain meds all night or today. Narcotics/pain meds suck. I hate being all loopy, tired and unable to keep a train of thought. Can't even follow a basketball game on TV because my eyes can't keep up with the back and forth to the baskets...Heehee! Kevin your definitely right being in shape will help me mend faster. I'm a petite person, but according to my physical therapist I'm not that strong. I mean I don't lift weights or anything, just my breasts Haha!! Thanx again everybody!!!

Fluffy, oddly enough, there is only one real tape that exsists of a match of mine, a bout that my best friend and I promoted at my High School while we were both seniors, which drew a few hundred people. Unfortunately though he is in possetion of that tape at the moment. I do however have some links to pictures which you can see here...
By the way, I'm the one in the black shirt. Warning, there is one very graphic picture at the bottom of the first linked page.

Just a side note, this was a very toned down show since it was a school event. The planned ending had called for me to be thrown from the top of the bleachers to the floor, but we realized while were were setting up and walking through the match that it wouldn't be possible due to the way that the administration had set up the gym. |

WOW, Kevin, those really ROCK!!! I would love to see the video if you get your hands on it again. I thought it was really kewl how the 2 pages you link show almost the exact same moments from opposite sides. That was really kewl. I still can't figure out why your friend chose to be over the barrel when you landed on him. Seems like to much risk of hurting your back. That looks dangerous just knowing whats about to happen. HEHE It does look like you guys were going HARDCORE!! Keep me in mind if you get the video back.
Hey Evergreen, glad your feeling a bit better. I am so envious of your trip to the acupuncturist. Although not envious of the reason for your visit. I have always wanted to try having acupuncture done. I have an first american friend who does acupuncture and have been trying to set up a TIMe to try it. We will keep sending GOOD VIBES and hopefully your recovery and pt will go smoothly, quickly, and painlessly. Wishing you the best so you can get back to typing, mousing, clutching on your car, reading a book, playing your gameboy and of course, SEX without any pain. |

Pam, they are actually video stills. The tape was made with two video cameras, one on each side, and (as you can tell from the pics) one more zoomed in. Back when I used webtv, it had a pretty handy feature where you could just freeze any picture on your tv screen and turn it into a .jpg picture, and that is what those shots are... I tried to capture a few of the high spots of the match, although there is much missing. |
