My girlfriend, is intering in Jacksonville, FL. She's seems so far away. When I was going through some depression earlier last semester, it was her who brought me back. She is my light, and now I dont konw what to do without her near me. I started school today, and realized when I got there, that there was no chance of me seeing her on campus. I wanted to crawl back to bed and knead the pillow that smells like her, until I forgot where she really was. Six inches is too far away, now I have 200 miles to deal with. I dont even want to smoke, I threw out all my pot. When I smoke I cant concentrate, and all I want to do is think of her.
Everyday is one less day, until I see her again.

I feel your pain in every way, shape, and form. My girlfriend, whom im madly in love with and have been with for well over a year, is in Idaho. I reside 2500 miles away in New York City. One day we'll share a roof, but seeing how at the moment it takes a 350$ plane ticket to see her sporaticaly, it hurts badly. Im lonely, and although weve talked every day online for over 2 and a half years, its nothing compared to being with her side by side.
Stick with it though. Theres nothing more gratifying than knowing you prevailed over time and distance to be with someone you truly love and cherish.

And you're right, that IS one of the worst ways to hurt. That's almost worse than a broken heart. Because you know she's there, but you just can't be with her. I feel for you man.

I'm in the same boat with you boys. My girlfriend has been going to school about 80 miles away from me for the last year and a half which hasn't been too bad, but starting January 24th she's going to wales for a semester abroad. No chance of seeing her for 5 strait months! Plus there's always that jelousy of all the probably cuter smarter boys who get to see her everyday and that unrealistic fear that she's going to fall for one. Be tuff duder, true love endures (that should be a fucking song hehe).

The distance thing never worked for me until I found my soulmate...Now distance isn't really a factor and we don't live in the same state either. I really believe if you've found true love, distance, time and space are irrelevant.
And Crash.... did you say you don't even feel like burning the herb? You are DEFINITELY "in love" thats a classic sign. Are you thinking about her every second you're awake and dreaming of her every second you're asleep? Doodling her name in meetings thinking about her instead? Are you noticing everything thats her favorite color or listening to music she likes? Does she tell you to look at the stars and think of her and then you'll be looking at the stars together? And do you think thats a beautiful sentiment? Are you imagining how you ever lived happily before she came along? Has everything in your life up till now, led you to her? Do the words soulmate, kindred spirits, telepathy, and synchronicity pop in your head when you think about her?
