Hey all,
This is not a complaint, this is more of a frown in the form of a few sentences. I was lucky enough to see Tim play in Omaha, Denver, and New York all last year so when I got word he and the band were coming to Lincoln, Nebraska I was very very happy!! I have never been able to see TR3 together.
I went out and bought 8 tickets for the show and gathered up a group of friends, some that have seen Tim but more that had not. I was stoked to bring new people to see and hear the great experience that was to be.
I want to say two things. I understand shows get cancelled or moved but hopefully the show will be re played at some point, which leads me to my more important second point.
If you want to sell out a venue or get the right exposure, dont book in Lincoln, stick with Omaha in the future. I understand Tim and the band arent trying to fill an arena like the Qwest Center but they would easily fill and rock a handful of great new places around the Omaha area.
So in closing, I am really bummed that I wasnt able to experience the band, but Im still hopeful for good things to come again (back to Omaha!).
I will be able to see Tim play with DMB in Vegas this year so its ok in the end...well unless the Vegas shows get cancelled haha :) :)

First of all, welcome Imnatase!
I agree, TR3 should play in OMAHA!!!!!
Imnatase, I live outside of Philadelphia but my son moved with his girlfriend to Omaha. She was offered a great engineering job out there. This year they bought a house which was good and bad news for me. Good news that they are now homeowners, but bad news that they are putting down "roots" so far away. They really seem to like Omaha and I look forward to visiting them this summer. My son is a fan of TR too and I am anxious for him to hear TR3. I would REALLY love for them to play in Omaha.
While it is great that you posted this here, it would be even more helpful if you sent a copy of what you posted to Hugh Southard. He is the booking agent. Wouldn't hurt to send a copy to Page Stallings as well since she also covers the mid-west.
The same goes for anyone else, if you want TR3 to come to your part of the country, let Hugh know. Personally, I would also suggest possible venues and give information about the venues, ie: the venue website.
Hey, it is worth a try! Good luck!

Hey Folks...Tim's agent and manager Hugh Southard here. First of all, Tim loves the venue in Lincoln and hated to have to cancel the date and we would love to hit Omaha this fall when TR3 tours again. What happened was simply this..TR needs to do some more work on the DMB album coming out this spring and that was the only time he could fit it in for this tour. He is flying out of Washington...going to the studio and then meeting the band in Davenport. The other major consideration was the long drive for Tim and the band with only 2 days off between the Pacific NW and Lincoln. Tim has been going non stop for about a year now between DMB and TR3 and it looks like he will keep up that pace for at least the rest of this year. We all love him and don't want to kill him so we need to give him some time to breath.
Don't worry we will make it there...in the interim I would encourage you to check out the new CD ... it is his best ever, and be patient...TR3 will be around for a long time to come.
E-mail with venue ideas!!
