1. What model Morley volume pedal does tim use?

I forget which year(s) the article was referring to, but when they did T+D, I remember reading Tim used a Morley Volume/Wah combo pedal, which I happen to own. Kind of a pain hitting the stupid button to turn on wah though. |

I think he used the Morley on the 1999 D&T tour. I think he switched to the EB pedal soon after that. I think I remember Fluffy mentioning something about Tim owning a few Morleys because they kept breaking.
I had a Morley Wah/Volume for a while too. I used to think it was cool having the Wah switch off to the side, but it became kind a nuisance if you needed to kick the wah on in the spur of the moment. I use a separate wah now that is switch less, so just putting your foot on it activates the effect and it stop when you take your foot off. |

Guitarguy, what wah is that, and how is it? I am looking into getting a Keeley modded crybaby, but that sounds intriguing. |

the Moogerfooger is the Ring Modulator.
Also, yes he uses the Fishman Aura (which is spectacular . . . especially if you had Tim sign it and is sitting at your feet right now ) |

I believe the model of mine is a Dunlop Crybaby 95Q. Other than being switchless it also has a knob to control the intensity of the wah, which is great for using it with acoustic guitars.
Morley also makes a couple switchless wahs I think, but I've decided to steer clear of them since I was never really impressed with their wah sound overall. |

I had a Dunlop UniVibe pedal(which was nice), but I sold it once I got the Boss Rotary Speaker Simulator.
Also check out the Aura at http://www.fishmanaura.com/ . You will want something compatible for a midi setup to download the images from the computer to your Aura (the Midisport Uno is a good one, it is USB to MIDI so you don't need to add anything to your computer). |

I really want one of those. I've tried to find a cheap knockoff with a similar effect but nothing really compares to the original. |

I can't remember off the top of my head, if any of you are going to the seminar. But I hope effects is part of the weekend, I think it would be interesting if even as a minimum if some of us collaborated on such a topic. It could produce some interesting results. |

Well, I adore my Boss Rotary Speaker Simulator. It is the most tweakable and best sounding Rotary Speaker Simulator that I have played (and I have played the Hughe's & Kettner). |

Funny you should mention that because that is the one I was actually considering a while back. Then while searching for info about it I watched the video for the SL-20 slicer pedal and wanted that instead because it's so trippy. I have yet to buy either of them though. I have a feeling the slicer might be fun for a while but would wind up collecting dust and not getting used much. |

All of TR's current setups:
ELECTRIC(DMB & TR3)
Fender Stratocaster Gibson Flying V Gibson Les Paul Schecter Diamond Series C-7 Blackjack 7 string(TR3) Marshall JCM-2000 TSL w/ Marshall1960A 4X12 Angled Cabinet(DMB) Marshall JCM 2000-DSL 401 Super Lead w/ Switch Pedal(TR3)
Effects loop(starting at the send end): Boss DD-7 Digital Delay > Dunlop Uni-Vibe > Hughes & Kettner Rotosphere > (back into the effects loop)
TR's Guitar into MoogerFooger Ring Modulator > Ernie Ball Volume Pedal > (directly into amp, uses a bypass on Ring Modulator for DMB setup)
ACOUSTIC(D&T and SOLO)
Martin D-35(6 string D&T and SOLO) Martin D12-28(12 string SOLO)
Both 6 & 12 run thru the "Fishman Aura Acoustic Imaging Blender" first
6 String Pedal Board: Boss DD-5 or 7 Digital Delay MoogerFooger Ring Modulator Ernie Ball Volume Pedal Fishman Pro EQ Platinum Acoustic Guitar Preamp/DI
12 String Pedal Board: Ernie Ball Volume Pedal Fishman Pro EQ Platinum Acoustic Guitar Preamp/DI
NOTE: TR does not use the EQ feature on Fishman Pro. He only uses that as a DI box to send to FOH as the Fishman Aura creates his tone and sound.
