I could sell you mine...I guess.

I don't see why I'd ask more than $15 for it.

Spread the Tim-love!

I'm not sure how the transaction would go down though. Maybe I'll just give it to you...

Paypal it. Or do a B&P with cash.

Though, I didn't say that. And you won't do that.

Give me your address and I'll send you my copy...assuming I can still locate it. I might not have the case or the book anymore...but the disc will be in great condition.

Merry Christmas...or whatever...

God, I remember the first time I listened to Stream in my car after I bought it. That's the day my outlook on guitar playing changed and the day I decided I wanted to try to become a solo guitarist. What a beautifully amazing album.

It is a really great piece of work, and really my favorite Tim album. I love the stuff he does with effects and everything, but Stream is really where it is for me; one man, one acoustic guitar.

I still think now is the perfect time to re-issue Stream. Add a live cut with Stream---> Kashmir as a bonus cut. Make it available on iTunes etc.

I sent you the email. The boards definitely has a PM feature...but I might have disabled it for me.

Anyhow, don't worry about the money. Everyone should be able to hear the music. I'm not going to try to make any money off of it.

Enjoy!

Stream was already reissued. Sorry though, I am not parting with my disk.

gnome44, your gesture is wonderful, really appreciate and love to see stuff like that happening on TR's board.

So everyone is aware, we are working on reissuing some of TR's earlier works that have gone out of print. Not sure when it will happen or which titles will resurface but I am sure Stream will be one of them as it as already been discussed. The good news is once it is available again the price gouging on the internet for TR's CD's should end. Some may be actually CD reissues and others may be digital downloads thru some sort of outlet like iTunes or something similar. It is being worked on so hopefully gnome will be able to replace his donated copy very soon. I am guessing you have it on your iPod or something so you will still be able to listen to it during it's absence from your collection.

Is there any older TR3 stuff involved in these reissues?

I refer you back to my 2nd sentence........"Not sure when it will happen or which titles will resurface but I am sure Stream will be one of them as it as already been discussed."

So I would say it's to early to say for sure whats involved. Obviously, the desire would be to make everything available but that might take a little longer. Just wanted everyone to know it's being worked on and as I have details I will let you all know. Sorry I can't be more definitive but we just don't know at this point. Lots of work goes into a project like this and what with trying to get the new CD out which is our MAIN priority at the moment. blah blah blah I could ramble on forever about this. LOL Anyway, short answer, Don't know yet. hehe

So was your post.

You could have offered to burn the poster a copy of the CD until he found a reasonably priced one instead of "Sorry, not gettin' mine!"

Thanks for clearing that up. I wasn't sure if you were only looking at re-releasing some of the TR solo stuff since you specifically mentioned Stream, or if older TR3 stuff was being considered too. Glad to hear that it could be both! I would love to hear the '88 TR3 album in digital quality.

Just to let those interested know, it looks like most of TR's CDs from Gossip Of The Neurons up to Parallel Universe are back in stock at MusicToday, including the reissued version of Stream.

It was nice to be able to re-purchased a few of the older CDs I'd lost over time.
