caught him at the DTE show in michigan w/dmb. he was the reason I went in the first place. anyways, what a difference he makes to this band. I won't discredit dmb, they're great and have withstood the test of time pretty well so far but he is taking them where they should have been all along. it's probably too much to hope for that he'd ever commit completely to the band at this point in his life but talk about an unexpected fucking ROCK show. I hadn't seen dmb since bonnaroo 05 and the last time I got a chance to see tim was bonnaroo 04. missed the TR3 show in pontiac because I was fuckin sick, total bullshit. anyways, Tim if you get a chance to read this you are an inspiration.
I use to tab songs for this site(or at least tried my hardest to figure the songs out) way way back when I was like 16 or 17. not sure what my username was back then, I think holydezam. anywho, once again Tim you have been a continually influential force in my musical life. thank you for putting every ounce of your soul into every show night after night. love ya man, in a non-homo kind of way. thanks again for all the years on the road and in the studio putting out great music.

definitely! that's what I'm fucking saying. it's like he's injected himself into the veins of all the members of the band and they're all completely connected, relaxed, and just having fucking fun up there. he's perfectly tasteful. if that's even a fucking sentence. one of the top shows to see live right now for sure. it seems to be a general consensus with everyone I've talked to that he melts total face. it's a cool thing to be a part of. wish they did it more than once every 10years!!

his melodies are so smooth and nice to listen to. he's probably one of the best front men of all-time, at least of our generation(I only have 24 years of experience so I'm probably mostly full of shit). vocal ability wise he's fucking hard to beat or compare to right now. Eddie Vedder is a fucking beast, but I think Dave has him beat in ability for sure overall, more versatile. He can fucking nail funk and soul songs but at the same time the softest melodies too, money sounded really great vocally, and all that, he can sing anything basically. but his new tunes are great, that Idea of you song is awesome. alright have fun at the shows everyone.
