Nope. The battle for liberty will not end in November.
Romney's delegates can now choose who to support. Everyone hates McCain, who it has not come to light was never even tortured. Ron Paul will be in it until the convention.
The is an attack on his congressional seat now and he will shift some focus to maintain his seat.
We'll see what happens, either way Hitlary was already chosen to win the presidency when she attended Bilderberg in 2006.
Our country is in utter turmoil, and everyone is watching tv. |

i count 3 slogans that would look great on t-shirts, signs, and sound wonderful in inspirational speeches for people who support lost causes.
there is no battle here. there never was a battle. what there is, though, is a pathetic pantomime that could have been played out no other way. |

Ron Paul will still be out there, but he won't win the republican ticket.
Also, I really think Obama still has a chance. Just giving up and say that Hillary will win means you have lost hope yourself, and you yourself have given up.
Ruby, if you give up and just say Hillary wins, no question, might as well say that the 9/11 commission report is correct and your cause has no hope.
I am not giving up, and I still support Obama, and I think he still has a shot for the presidency. |

Ron Paul Calls For March On Washington DC Congressman admits move would be "risky" but that media would be forced to sit up and take notice
Paul Joseph Watson Prison Planet Tuesday, February 12th, 2008
Congressman Ron Paul has called on his supporters to organize a march on Washington DC, admitting that such a move would be "risky" but impossible for the media to ignore and could have a big impact on the eve of the Republican convention.
In a campaign update posted on You Tube last night, the Texan outlined his thinking behind the plan.
"One of the projects that I've been working on in my mind and in my head that I want to share with you....we ought to make a grand display, we ought to have a true march to show what our numbers are," said Paul, adding that such a move would be "risky".
Paul said that the march was necessary because the media would not be able to ignore it and such an action would "send a powerful message."
"Others have gone to Washington and people remember the grand rallies, so I'm at the point where I think we have to make a grand stand, we have to stand firm and see where the numbers are and be counted and see if the remnant is there and see how big it is," said Paul, adding that such a display could make delegates sit up and take notice at the Republican convention in September.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryMliyeIDp4
Paul said the rally was vital, "If we want to really take a stand for freedom, take a stand that nobody can ignore, to see what would happen if we really had this grand march on Washington."
The Congressman said the march would have to take place within three or four months so that it would occur before the convention.
The prospect of such a huge public display is obviously going to send chills down the spines of the elite and they will no doubt be considering plans to infiltrate and provocateur violence so as to demonize legitimate demonstrators in the eyes of the watching audience.
Numerous important demonstrations down the years have been infiltrated by authorities posing as anarchists who instigate violence to give the police carte blanche to crackdown on peaceful protesters.
Nowhere was this more evident that in Quebec last summer where during the SPP summit protest, Canadian police were caught and later forced to admit to posing as violent rock-carrying anarchists as other police staged their arrest when they were pointed out as cops by protesters.
The potential of more staged violence is particularly high considering the fact that the media has engaged in a year-long campaign to insinuate that Ron Paul supporters are extremists, racists and possibly violent. They seized upon several "money-bomb" campaigns to link the terminology with Guy Fawkes' 16th century Gunpowder Plot to bomb the British parliament.
During his campaign update, Ron Paul also emphasized why his supporters should not be disheartened by his recent decision to scale back his presidential campaign in order to safeguard his congressional seat.
"We do have to be very positive about what we have achieved this year, far beyond my expectations and far beyond the expectations of most of those individuals in the media who wrote us off rather quickly," said Paul.
"If we drop the ball now, if we fade away and disappear, all the work and effort that we've done in this past year could be lost so that is why I believe we have to stay in this race and do what we can."
"We can't turn this around in a week or two or a year or two, but if conditions deteriorate as I suspect we have to have a hardcore of people who understand these issues who are able to rebuild this society," he added.
"We need everybody to stay engaged and stay active and not be disillusioned that this is all over....we can't drop the ball right now, we have to continue this process," concluded Paul. |

Me either. Just like supporting anyone who ends up being corrupt. I'm sure Mike Tyson still has fans, along with Barry Bonds, Dick Cheney, George Bush, and Bill Clinton. |

Obama and Clinton are not the same. They have completely different ideas, and will have completely different administrations when president. You guys stop this bullshit. I am sick of it.
Also, Hillary isn't that horrible! I also don't mind Hillary. I don't think she is that bad. I would prefer someone else, but if she is president, I won't be horrified or disgusted. Also, say whatever you like but I think Bill Clinton was still a good president. I just think he needed to keep his damn pants on.
I am sick of how everyone is so negative about this crap. Is there anyone who is optimistic? Anyone here who doesn't think the world is coming to an end?
Well, I don't! |

Both of them have shady, shady ties. I don't know everything about it, because I can't dedicate a large portion of my time reading about it. I think Obama's the lesser of two evils. Clinton scares me though. |

I'm optimistic... Optimistic that we're ravaging our planet burning through our strongest natural resource oil at a ridiculous rate while our populations increase, and this sustainability issue will force people to change the way they think and live or kill us off.
I'm also optimistic that foreclosure rates are the highest they've been since the depression, and our economy is about to go down the tube. It's about time people in this country were tested. We need it. I'm also optimistic about the state of political affairs when people think that Clinton and Obama are much different. I'm optimistic that our republican form of government is showing all the signs of breaking down when related to other republics and previous empires in history. This just means that people will have to start caring about government because they won't be able to ignore the effect it has on them.
I'm optimistic but I also realize that stuff in twelve months (give or take a few) is going to start to get noticeably bad because the metrics are all pointing that way. So while all our jobs and modes of production disappear we become increasingly more militaristic just like rome in many ways and it's going to crush us. Only rome fell and I went there this summer and loved it so I'm optimistic. |

Whatever, I like Obama and I am rooting for him. And fuck all who has a problem with that.
Edit: I'm giving up trying to talk politics on this board. You guys just give me a headache, and distrust everything and everyone. Fine, call Hillary Hitler, and Obama Stalin. Go dig a trench for when the air raids start. |

There are only two categories for Dan P. Things that are metal. And things that are clearly not metal. Things A.D. (After Dan) are inevitably non-metal. |

You're not really talking politics. No one said they were Hitler or Stalin. There are a number of people on this board who are clearly aware of the fact that the government has been over run by people who are clearly under the influence of big business and a military industrial complex that is driving this country into the ground, as they ship our economy overseas. Not everyone cares all that much for instance dan, but I think if you can't at least sit back and see how sick our political process is and what a joke it is to have our politically under educated and unaware public vote you're living in a fantasy world. When you make statements like they're not that bad it's not really a discussion though, it's just blabbing. Discuss an issue and you'll find people will respond. |

somebody actually mentioned something relevant, instead of ranting. did you know that the current system of health care that is falling apart and helped cause a recession, was put into effect by a committee, that was put together by bill clinton? and who was placed in the chairman's seat of this committee? the first lady at the time... hilary Clinton. she tried to quick fix the problem without considering the consequences. That is why she scares me. Allow me to site… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1993_Clinton_health_care_plan

well, if you care it's because you believe that of all these problems, these vast, grand sweeping problems, have solutions and can be fixed. i believe that they don't. if they had solutions, they wouldn't have gotten so out of control. we're simply playing out the final, inevitable string. empires rise and fall. societies wax and wane. why would america be any different? might as well try to fix rome. the problems are inherent to empires, and to humans. |

Oh damn, dan I forgot to say with that though that I don't care that you don't care or look down upon you for it or anything like that. You are not the problem and I don't expect you to be the solution. As I recall you're not a voter or anything like that and I wish more people would do the same. Besides even though you don't care you're usually up for discussion. |

and it is that kind of apathy that allows things to get out of hand. if it doesn't matter who the president is, then you're saying we'd be where we are if we didn't elect, then re-elect bush? the more the people(i.e. YOU) don't care, the less the government cares about the people. i understand being jaded, but this is your country in a time of transformation... c'mon!! if never before or never again, care now. |

it's hard to re-elect someone when we didn't even elect him the first time. so why is voting so awesome again?
and, like everyone else in america, you seem to hanging everything on the office of president. what about the other two branches of government? not as important? there's more to caring, and more to all of our problems, than who the president is. and that's all that's ever discussed. the fact is not everything is bush's fault.
the transformation, fall, or continuence of this country will be as it will regardless of whether or not i become a cheerleader for a given cause. the government already doesn't care. you have lost. i know it's difficult to accept your own powerlessness and helplessness, but it's true. |

Exactly! The US can have a whole new government every 6 years in peaceful revolutions known as elections. However look at congress, and you'll see people voting in the same people year after year and then backing that up with the idea that a rookie senator or representative won't be able to get anything done.
The problem is not in people like dan who don't vote. It is in people who vote and don't have any knowledge or education to decide who should be in power. The people of this country obviously don't elect people based on their political expertise. Some people are so proud to go out and vote for the same mainstream bullshit candidates all the time and act like they're doing their civic duty responsibly. |
