Hey guys I went to the two TR3 shows in North Carolina and at Virgina Beach, but unfortunately I couldn't make it to the show last night in Richmond. They were both amazing shows. I managed to get some footage at both shows even though they were packed, and I finally got it up on youtube lastnight. Make sure that you watch purple rain. A drunk guy jumps up on the stage and hugs Tim while he plays a solo it's amazing and hilarious. My youtube profile is http://www.youtube.com/Vr6JasonMk4

-thanks jason

I saw someone with a video camera right in front of the stage at the Richmond show. I only remember seeing them during the first set, but hopefully whoever that was will put some videos online.

That is the very first time I have ever seen Tim play a Strat.

I've seen a vid or two of him playing a Strat with DMB...also there was this little gem of him rocking a Strat...in shorts...with a perm:

I'm just used to seeing him with a Les Paul or an SG.

I usually can't stand how Strats play/sound but of course Tim makes them sound great.

Wow, thanks to all for that Industrial Complex Vid. Speaking of guitars, is that a new one? I don't recognize it... almost looks like a bass guitar.

Looks like a 7 String Schecter to me. Could be an Ibanez too. Didn't he play that (or one similar) on Fat Bottom on the Chaos View DVD?

It may not be this same one, but this looks similar. I noticed the 4 string tuners are on the bottom of the headstock on the one on the video and on the top in this pic so it's obviously not the same guitar:

The one he has now looks more like this one to me:

It is indeed a 7 string Schecter Diamond Series. The one in the top picture if memory serves was TR's 7string Ibanez. The one he is currently playing is the one in the lower picture.

Hey Fluffy, thanks for weighing in. I actually realized the old one was an Ibanez as I was flipping through an old musical catalog last night.

I dig that Schecter. I've actually been thinking about buying a 7 String electric for a while. Really opens up the crunch factor.

Doesn't someone on here actually own Tim's old Ibanez?

Hello out there! I went to the show in Harrisonburg last night. Tim and the new TR3 sounded great. It was so cool to see him play live again. I used to see him all the time in Cville in the late '80s and early '90s. Too bad more JMU college kids don't dance. W'as up wi dat? Here is a video I shot at the show http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3p7CTFoXcA

As you all may have heard by now Prince is busy shutting down versions of his songs on YouTube. I think Vr6Jason's Purple Rain footage was up about 12 hours or less. LOL Well I guess Prince's camp hasn't seen this one yet, it's been up for about 3 days. Check it out before it's GONE as well. LOL

Great shot of TR playing the lead with his TEETH!

And here is a nice montage of footage from The Knitting Factory TR3 performance that includes Marcus Eaton as well:

ENJOY!!!
