Machine Shop. Third Shift. I am very tired. My hands are very cut. There is much noise and no one to talk to except myself. I listen to NPR all night. Yeah, I really do. I have not fucked up much, yet. But I have cut myself many, many times. And I smell like coolant, always, and am covered in metal dust. And there are many small, stinging cuts. Fun. |

| I got a machine shop job this year too, so I know what you mean. I cut platinum, which isn't that hard to handle, but I've gotten sliced pretty good a couple times. It's a pretty low stress job for a machine shop though - actually the easiest job I've ever had. What do you make? |

| Haha! You guys're funny. Dirtysloth, I make a wide variety of shit---some surgical tools, engine parts, machine parts, tools to make more machine parts for making more machine tools...pretty much if it fits in our mills we do it. Mostly aluminium and steel, but a few are titainium. So some nights I sit and wait for the majority of my shift, other nights I run three machines each with a cycle lasting under three minutes---so it's either hectic or incredibly lazy work. But platinum, man...I'd be hawking scraps, dude! |

do you guys make masterwork rapiers? i want the +1 bonus to attack and damage, but i don't want to use a magical enhancement for it. that way i can stack +5 in enchantments on top of the +1.

I have no idea what a masterwork rapier is, but who wants a platinum cock ring?
Still gotta pay for it. I get scanned by police officers every night before I leave work. Platinum is $1600 or so an ounce. That's a deal. Still less than girl scout cookies.
