I've noticed that the Message Boards have been running slowly lately.
Especially opening up the "Friends Aboard..." forum.
Is there a particular reason for this? Maybe it's getting bogged down. Or maybe the number of posts shown on the page could be limited. I'm not sure that would help (or if that's the cause).
Just a thought... |

HAHA! I didn't mean "slow" as in no one is posting...
I meant "slow" as in, "I sit and wait for the computer to chug through all of the data to actually show the forum on my screen."
I'm about 99% sure it's not my computer (because it happens on several different computers...I think).
It seems the message board is slow to open. |

| you have to install web 2.0 for it to move at normal speed. i have a copy, but i can't find it. i think it's lost in the megabytes somewhere. i guess you and i are just stuck with the old version of the internets. |

And I check these boards on a daily basis. I just don't always have stuff to start threads, or just things I think are too personal or inappropriate to post about, in which not to offend or bore anybody. |

I did think this site among some others was going a bit slow. But I then found out I had to defrag my hard drive. I don't know what that means but I heard a computer nerd say it once.
Now everything is much faster. |
