well what can I say? This was my first solo Tim concert. And it was AWESOME! I will put up a review in a week or so. I even got to meet him, and I was looking for you Fluffy. But Tim said you were in New Mexico. So I guess I'll have to wait another 3 years until he comes to Boston again. LOL Tim did say that he would play Zimbabwe next time he came around. SO now I already can't wait for the next show! |

So what exactly is/was Row-a-palooza? Was that a festival or something? It doesn't seem like it was a normal show. |

Kevin,it is their boating festival. Not sure how much "crewing" is done in the rest of the country, but racing these special boats is huge on the north east coast. Most of what I know about the regatta's are on a college level although I think they also have a place in the summer olympic games. I am not sure if the term "crewing" is spelled right or not, but they are long thin boats where about 6-8 people sit in a line and row.
Here in Philly we have the Dad Vail Regatta on the Schuylkill River in the spring. It is an intercollegiate event. My neice used to be the person on the boat that shouted to keep everyone in time with their rowing, I forget now what that person is called.
Row-a-Palooza was a festival around their boat races. Sounded to me like it would have been a blast to attend. Glad someone here got to do that. |

Awesome, thanks for the info Pam. I think my college had a rowing team, but it isn't that big of a thing out here I don't think.
Sciphish, I can't wait to see your pictures and hear your review! |
