I like his cds for the most part, and I've seen him live twice, both at festivals. At first I thought his gimmick was all schtick, but after meeting him, and seeing him refuse to shake hands with female fans (as it is against his religious beleifs to touch any females aside from his wife) I saw that it wasn't just a gimmick. Nothing great, but good, and better than a bunch of crap out there.
I liked Blues Traveler many years ago. They have lost a lot since the original bassist died. Their radio tunes are also not among their best songs. I do agree that now they suck pretty bad.
There is also talk that they may collaborate. We will see if that pans out. Could be kewl given TR's reggae leanings.
