weak. bitching about the mail. For something that generally runs as smoothly as it does, I think the mail is great.
Also, the postal employees probably are about as happy as you are. They now have one more day of mail on their hands. And with the short notice of the memorial day, it'd have been tough to make any reasonable plans... so it was a day to basically sit around and not do anything.... er... remember Former President Ford.
So yeah... the mail people probably appreciate it as much as you. |

| i was expecting a mailbox full of delicious mail today, too. and they were like "oh, gerald ford." and i was like "what does an old president have to do with mail?" and they said "get the fuck out of my face." bottom line, though? i want my mail. even if it's just fucking bills or something. in fact, i'm going to delay paying my bills a day, and use gerald ford as an excuse. door swings both ways, bitch. |

But yeah, something unschedueled, but we knew was going to happen (no offense, but he was old and frail . . . plus he watches football, drinks beer, and nachos with Homer Simpson) shouldn't hold up the whole world. Personaly I am waiting for my insurance cards for my new insurance, and wasn't happy not to have mail for the day . . . but of course the cards still havn't come. |
