This may be a bit brief, I don't have alot of TIMe to post them but I wanted to at least get the setlists up so people could check them out.
We had an exciting show at Jack's. In almost complete contrast to the Austin gig it was a energetic audience. Not in a bad way as you might think. They were having a great TIMe and very into it. There was very much interaction between TR and audience. TR was having a great TIMe. They weren't talking during his set to one another as is usually the case. Instead they were very enthusiatic in their appreciation of TR, clapping and screaming "Fuck YEAH!!" between songs. They were making TR giggle and in return TR made them laugh. One guy kept goading TR to take off his shirt. There was much entertaining banter between the fans and TR. Eventually, TR obliged and for the encore came out and took his shirt off much to the excitement of the audience. As for the music, TR was raging. I don't think I have seen such a driven set by him in a while. He was just in the groove. Alot of the usual songs got extra juice from TR tonite. He even thru in a little Led Zep "Friends" into Stream. I had never heard him do that before. The "slide" improv is getting better and better each nite, it is quickly becoming the highlight of the set for me although HVH still holds special spot. Here's the setlist:
Cosmic Coyote Ohio Betrayal Noble Che Indoct Shallow Hollow --------------------- Sinceritox Ancestors Here Comes The Sun Stream - Underwear Hands Full Slide-gasm ---------------------- Loose Vast Kundalini Monkey(Makaka) ------------------------- Revolution Doom Don't No Hold On -------------------------- Space Needles 666 Come To Daddy Captain Jerk -------------------------- Cold Sweat Monkey Twat Twit Teaser
As always, John and his staff took great care of us and we can't wait for a return engagement. THANX guys! Both shows we have had there have been quite memorable.
Unfortunately, the planned taper could not make it so this show was not captured in any format. SORRY! |

Sounds like a great show! Funny about the shirt thing....aren't women supposed to want the shirt off? LOL In C'ville this young girl behind me kept yelling out things near the end of the show, like, "Tim you are such a hottie, I love you Tim!" Yeah, she had a bit much to drink and her friend kept telling her to be quiet, it was funny. |
