I am a relatively new fan of Tim's work... and am currently infatuated with this Bach I & II piece...

can anybody give me some background info on this? is this an origianl piece? is he translating something (Präludium und Fuge über das Motiv B.A.C.H. (I & II)) to guitar?

thanks

i also had some problems pinpointing what Bach piece he is actually playing. i take it that you are referring to the Bach I & II found on youtube.com.. a friend and i recorded that concert, and we were also infatuated, so much so that we tabbed it out.
if you go to the Tablature/Guitar Setup section of the forums and search for Bach you'll find that chris did a powertab of the Bach piece. also i submitted most of the tab to the tablature section of the website.
but other than that, i searched classtab.org for a few days and dl'd a lot of the Bach songs and found nothing that sounded like the one TR plays..if you or anyone else finds any info i would also apprieciate it

This has been discussed in great detail in another thread:

I think KevinLesko at one point also found Segovia recordings he thought might be the missing inspiration. Read the thread for more info.
