Sorry for the delay in response I have been on vacation and My Mac at home doesn't like the TR web site for some reason.

My review will give some insight on the performance as well as details from my personal view. It might be a little differnt...I hope you guys don't mind!

My journey started at 1:00pm in Fort Worth shortly after I picked up the minivan rental to make the trip. The drive through Oklahoma was interesting. I left with an appreciation of the natural beauty within Oklahoma that I didn't have before, mostly around the Eufaula area. I had to make mention of this because it stands out in my mind so much as a part of the trip.

At exactly 8:00pm I arrived in Tahlequah and walked into the Dream Theatre. The venue was impressive, just as I expected. It was built in 1943 and everything appears to be untouched for the most part. Jim the owner was an extremely nice guy and is doing great things with the Dream theatre. The lights/ sound were lacking in a major way but given that this place has only been open for 5 months says a lot.

The opening act was an acoustic trio that goes by the name of "skillbillys". They were a very talented bunch with a Very Very strong bluegrass sound. The crowd was really in favor of this style of music, at some point I was wondering where in the hell I was? Being from a much larger city...the small town vibe sent me into shock. It was the feeling of stepping back in time several years. For example...Beer $2...Hot dogs $1....it was something unheard of where I'm from. Oddly enough...It seemed as if greed was not present in this small Cherokee town.

The seating was all theatre style and I was praying that everyone would stay seated so that my camera angle was not blocked...I was sadly shot down.

Tim made his first appearance on stage with a kungfu style twist... shortly after the stage was blocked..and so was my view. Jim was kind enough to let me set up above the seating area near the movie projectors at the very back of the venue. Because of this...im not expecting the audio to be the best, but its the only recording of that performance. I am a huge fan of raw recordings with the crowd..but I have not had the chance to review the entire show.

Che was amazing...and it was my first chance to get a recording of this tune and what I thought was a stellar performance. It has a strong native American sound to it in parts that I thought was perfect for the town, just an ironic mix that I greatly appreciated.

The performance was amazing, yet I feel as if it passed under the radar with most of the crowd. The majority of the crowd was more interested in the party ...talking...yelling..laughing... and screaming at each other..I could go on. I even made it a point to get footage of the crowd and the unnecessary garbage that was going on. I found it amazingly disrespectful.

At one awkwardly quiet moment...A guy a few rows back yelled SATELLITE!!! and that is when I blacked out...lol.

Overall I made the best of what I had to work with. A new camera, bad lighting, bad audio, and bad crowd control. Tim was amazing and it was a very unique performance that I am grateful to have witnessed.

After the show I spoke with Fluffy & Tim and thanked them for the experience. Around 1am I hit the road back to Dallas/ Fort Worth...and arrived around 6am....just in time for breakfast!

A Huge Thanks to Tom, owner of the Dream theatre, for his hospitality. I will be sending out copies just as soon as I do some editing.

I hope you all enjoy it.

Later on,
Josh Martin
