OK, i have this assignment to compile a list geographic band names... i.e. people with geographic places in their name or band name
examples:
John Denver - Denver, CO
Chicago - Chicago, IL
Boston - Boston, MA
Debbie Gibson - Gibson, ??
and so on.... so if we could get a HUGE list together thatd kick ass

Blue Mountain - Blue Mountain, MS
Coldwater Independence - Coldwater, MS AND Independence, MS -(named for the sign that reads "Coldwater Independence" and then lists miles to or direction or something...)
Mississippi John Hurt - Mississippi
Taj Mahal - Taj Mahal, India
North Mississippi Allstars - Uuummm...North Mississippi.
Lots of local stuff there, but all of them are in fact bands and whatnot. (of course not all of those are local, duh).

Suzanne Vega - Vega...isn't that a star or a star system..? That's geographical, even if not on our planet...
